Overdrive is the final release from the Drive album: a collection of previously unreleased remixes, b-sides, and an extended version of “Cross The Universe.”
The EP (and the entire Drive era) ends fittingly with “I Want My MTV,” a neon-1984 rush built around that classic hook. And yes, getting permission to borrow that line was its own adventure.
